Review: Essie nailpolish Lapiz of Luxury

Van www.bol.com mocht ik een potje nagellak van Essie testen. Ik had zelf nog nooit nagellak van Essie geprobeerd (door de prijs) en was na alle positieve verhalen toch wel erg nieuwsgierig geworden. De kleur die ik kreeg opgestuurd was 94: Lapiz of Luxury, een mooie pastelblauwe kleur. Het potje ziet er mooi uit en bevat 13,5 ml. De kleur wijkt wel wat af van de afbeelding hier op bol.com -hij is donkerder in het echt-, maar hij is zeker mooi!

Het lakken van de nagels gaat makkelijk met het brede kwastje. Er zijn echter wel twee lagen nodig om goede dekking te krijgen (na de eerste laag, zag ik de "witte gedeeltes" van mijn nagels nog). Niet mooi vind ik, maar met twee laagjes was daar niets meer van te zien en dekt hij hartstikke goed. De kleur zoals je hem ziet in het potje, komt er ook echt zo uit te zien op je nagels. Dit vind ik echt een pluspunt, aangezien dit niet altijd het geval is.

Het grote voordeel van deze nagellak vind ik hoelang hij mooi blijft zitten op je nagels. Meestal chipt er al snel van alle kanten wel wat af en heb je snel krassen als je tegen iets aanstoot. Ik heb tijdens het dragen van de nagellak een aantal keer zo'n moment gehad, waarna ik opgelucht kon ademhalen omdat er niets van te zien was! :) Daarbij heeft de nagellak er bij mij wel 4(!) dagen opgezeten voordat hij dan toch begon te chippen. Ik heb hem zelfs tijdens mijn werk gedragen en waar normaal mijn nagellak er niet meer uitziet na een dag werken, zat het er nu nog perfect op. Deze eigenschap is echt geweldig, ik ben fan!

Pluspunten: blijft superlang zitten, mooie kleur, fijn borsteltje

I finally found a nailpolish that changes color in reaction to temperature changes. The nailpolish I found is from Essence and it reacts to changes in the outside temperature. As you can see, I bought the pink one (it's hot stuff). In reaction to a lower temperature this nailpolish changes from pink to purple, especially at the ends of my nails. In this video I made with Instagram, you can see the nailpolish change color. The thermo nailpolish costs only €1,99 and is available in 4 colors:

Eindelijk heb ik nagellak gevonden, waarbij de kleur verandert als de temperatuur verandert. De nagellak die ik heb gevonden is van Essence. De nagellak reageert op de buitentemperatuur. Zoals je op de foto kunt zien, heb ik de roze variant (it's hot stuff) gekocht, die door een lagere buitentemperatuur verandert in paars, en dan vooral aan de uiteinden van mijn nagels. Ik vind het een heel leuk effect. In deze video die ik maakte met Instagram kun je zien hoe de nagellak van roze naar paars kleurt. It's my beautiful skin day | HEMA

I finished my old day Cream from Garnier and since that one is not available anymore I bought one at a store called Hema.

The name of the daycream is 'my beautiful skin day'. I really like this name and I think it is probably inspired by Philosophy (only this one is a lot cheaper)! I also liked the smell and the promises it makes on the box. 

The day cream is available for the normal/combination skin (the one I bought), but as well for the sensitive skin.  

The ingredients. 

I like the daycream. It's a little bit thicker than the ones I used before, but I think that's good for my skin and it's dry places. I also like the smell and my boyfriend also noticed it and said I smelled nice.

Tangle Teezer

I've got an Tangle Teezer from my boyfriends mother. She thought I could use it for all of my hair. My hair is pretty thick and has a natural wave/curl in it. This brush looks awsome, it makes my hair really soft and I have less tangles than before. One thing that's too bad is the fact that it makes my hair less wavy/curly while I really like my waves/curls.

Andrélon intensive nightconditioner

Last week I tried this nightconditioner from Andrélon. I saw it at the Action and I took it home with me. I just love the packaging of this conditioner. I think the purple looks really nice. So, I tried this last week and I'm very pleased. You can apply the conditioner on wet or dry hair and you should put it in approximately 30 minutes before you go to sleep, so your hair has dried when you are going to sleep. I tried it on dry hair, went to sleep around 30 minutes later and washed my hair the next morning. The conditioner smells really nice and I think it works really good. My hair needed this. And the nice thing is, my hair smelled like roses for the next days too and it's not that expensive at all!

1. Schwarzkopf shampoo Cream & Oil

A shampoo for hair with split-ends with Argan Oil and Vanilla blossem. Comes in a bottle from 400 ml. I really like the smell of this shampoo and it makes my hair feel soft and nice.

It restores and conditions the hair to the core:

- Build damaged hair and reduces hair breakage

- Seals the hair fibers and repairs split ends

- For more resistance, flexibility and gloss

2. Niveau bodylotion for under the shower

You just put this on like a showercream. It's really quick in use and makes your skin really soft. I love it!

3. Gosh minérale eye shadow

I'm not really an eye shadow person, but I really like these ones from Gosh. They give a subtle look.

The suvstance feels smooth and it's not difficult to apply on your face. It feels good on the skin and I like the smell. It makes my face feel really fresh.
